Gar Saxon Taunting?

I was using Veers, MoffG, AP, Gar Saxon, and Super Commando in the forest moon assault battle when an oddity happened. Gar Saxon was taunting. Nothing in his descriptions says he auto taunts. Has any...

    Either that, or the OP used Gideon's second special (the one with the TM removal). It puts taunt on tank allies, which Gar Saxon as labelled as.
