Gear Exchange
I know we had a lot of mixed feelings about the gear exchange, but with the recent release of many characters needed hindreds of the same gear, I propose
it's time to bring it back. For this change to happen, a few things would have to happen to make it viable.
1. You could exchange your lower gear (MK2 Carbanti) for the next tier piece (Mk3) at a rate of 5:1. In addition you could exchange a higher piece at a rate of 3:1. This lower rate would be in place so people wouldn't exploit this and generate crystals. You would then be promted to confirm this transaction and then you would recieve the new salvage.
2. To create the upgraded piece, you would need to insert a specific amount of credits and crystals. Going down gear levels would cost significantly less credits and maybe one or no crystals. That way, you could get the gear you needed and even though you'd have to spend crystals for a tier up, it would be cheaper than just buying them from shipments.
With all the characters and all the gear out there, we need a more sustainable method of obtaining gear and getting the right gear pieces we need so that we can power up the characters we like to use.
