So I have a gear lvl 7 STH and Vader. They both need the same piece of gear, if I give it to Vader I can upgrade him to level 8, but I don't use Vader in my arena and I use STH. Who should the gea...

I guess you are right.

My wiggs are gear 8 and 7*.

Ill grind away on the arena squad.
