Gear Question?

So I have a gear lvl 7 STH and Vader. They both need the same piece of gear, if I give it to Vader I can upgrade him to level 8, but I don't use Vader in my arena and I use STH. Who should the gea...

Usually I go arena first but bumping someone up a full gear level is tempting. When I can level someone up that I use, I usually go that route first.
