Complaints like these invalidate real complaints on the forums. This isn’t a big deal.
In GA, check to see if your opponent has geared jawas. If yes, use geos on offense. If no, place geos on defense.
It doesn’t really alter much of how you play. I say let people waste gear on a cheap counter for 1 team. It’s not exactly an effective use of gear.
