- tward930New SpectatorProbably will fracture a few. And if you have gear 12 seperatists in a low gp guild. I know a guy...
- 6 stars for us have better results than our mid thirties in the other. It's frustrating to play, but since we just broke through on hsith, we're expecting that most of us will be able to get at least 1 to 2 mildly successful teams per phase. With the out of the park rewards difference, we haven't had any dissent.
- Yes, it will fracture some guilds.
Any new guild scale content will impact the decision making factors that influence whether one stays in or leaves a guild, and for some people it will lead to a decision to lead. Chance and circumstance will cause this to impact some guilds more than others. "DuneSeaFarmer;c-1907191" wrote:
If EA ever figures out how to compel players to move forward without going for our wallet they will be the giants they used to be and stop being the most hated... I live in hope. I remember EA back in the day. They were the top and we all loved their games. Times change I guess.
I would never expect EA to break the freemium mobile game model. And ask others who play more mobile games this is one of the best in terms of ftp to whale."Vinny_Vader_Vedi;c-1907197" wrote:

Imo this is pretty true. There are very few games that can provide both f2p with a decent fighting chance against p2p. Considering that you can get all content here eventually and can actually be competitive if you strategize, it's really not too bad."DuneSeaFarmer;c-1907162" wrote:
Why can't the game just be fun and not so adversarial? This type of competition brings out the worst in players. Maybe it's just time to go. Dump my mods, and go. No way back then.
If the game is not a positive experience for you, if it is a source of stress rather than a relief, perhaps just stop. Or just take a break.
That said? Territory Battle is probably the least adversarial prominent game mode. Your gain costs others nothing. That's compared to raids where you compete with your guildmates or TW/GA/Arena/Fleet Arena where by doing well you are actively and directly making others' rewards worse.
Yes, it affects others' decisionmaking as to whether to stay in the guild. Anything would, varying from person to person. But if the one big game mode that is truly pure cooperation and non-adversarial is too adversarial, I have questions."DuneSeaFarmer;c-1907341" wrote:
How would any here feel if they logged in and were out of their guild for whatever reason the guild chose and now you have to look for a new home. Your roster is growing but you can't get into an HSTR farm guild and GEOTB is out of the question, so now what? Hey you deserved it right? Get good. My point is there were many guilds with HSTR on farm that took in anyone, just to fill up, some to help lower level players. Now they are cutting out the low end and looking for strong players only. This is all cool and hey it's not personal? Even low end pay to win players are being booted. But again, they should have built bigger rosters, spent whatever or knew it would happen and have no right to complain?
I wonder how you'd feel?
One solution could be factions, with tiers. The game automatically advances you and you gain access to more compelling content? Oh wait *facepalm* robo guilds.. lol
Your what if is silly.
You can be let go from a guild at any time for any reason. That is not new. That is not a strange scenario that Geo TB created and introduced to the game. Every time new guild content comes, people bring it up.
But you know what?
It seldom happens. Most guilds choose to build their current membership rather than recruit so long as everyone's giving a good faith effort because recruiting is a pain in the butt. Most guilds will also talk to you long before they kick you. Random kicking is not the norm for decent human beings.
The most important part of finding a guild is finding a guild that has compatible culture, play style, and expectations. If a new piece of content comes out and your guild kicks you with zero warning because you aren't performing well enough, the problem is not the new content. The problem is that you joined a guild with an incompatible culture. And in that culture, literally any new content or even the same content that already existed could lead to your expulsion at any time.
As to what happens next, your doom and gloom scenario of not being able to get in another guild?
If you were being carried through hSith by a stronger guild, you are getting additional resources as a benefit of being carried and should have used those resources to grow to a point where you do not need to be carried. If you did not use those resources to grow, that's on you.
What it takes to carry yourself in hSith is not much. You need to be able to do 2% to the raid yourself. In practical terms, the easiest way is to have two teams that can do 4% damage to a phase. That can be, for example, JTR/BB-8/R2/Finn/Scav and the standard Jedi Knight Revan arena team that's been all over the place for the last nine months now. Neither is optimal for their respective phases, but they're very easy farms as a part of qualifying for their respective journey events at all, without even needing any farms specifically for hSith (Resistance Trooper, Hoda) or a full additional team to get one member (3PO; of the ten journey characters to get the two leads I just mentioned, half of them are used in the listed hSith teams).
If you have those two teams ready to go or close to it, you can get in on an hSith guild on your own merits no problem. If you have one of those teams ready to go or close to it, you can still probably get in on an hSith guild, and if not you can certainly get in on an aspiring hSith guild that's getting close. And in the case of the aspiring hSith guild, you can probably put yourself in the situation where you're the big fish in a small pond and work toward a lock on top 10 rewards.
As to Geonosis TB? The minimum is 80 mil. And even though it's not recommended, there are absolutely an abundance of 80-100 mil guilds who are doing Geonosis TB simply because it's the new thing with new rewards and finishers in the prize crate. The average GP to qualify is 1.6 mil. If you are anywhere close to that, you can absolutely get in on a guild doing Geonosis TB if that is your priority. And if you're not anywhere close to that, you probably shouldn't be worrying about Geonosis TB.
You're making a fuss over nothing.
And I'm not speaking out of ignorance. I have been kicked out of my guild without warning over rubbish reasons. I was a low end member of an hSith guild, and they booted me literally minutes before I could collect TB payout. This was before a lot of the changes that made hSith much easier to take down. At the time, I had a good JTR team and a combination of Phoenix, First Order, and Troopers who could collectively do 2% to P2. Chex and Nightsisters were a work in progress.
So I looked for a guild, found a guild working toward hSith, got in within a couple days. From there, I built up, and now I am that story of building up with a guild, becoming one of the heavy hitters, and having top 10 hSith on lock. Turns out, there are always guilds recruiting. Whether it's on Reddit, on Discord, or right here on this very forum. Lots of guilds need lots of people."Ferril9909;c-1905780" wrote:

I wonder if it is considered as a way of forming guilds that can do GEOTB and the rest either quit or form or join NTB guilds? Is member loyalty of no value? Is everyone just an NPC? (Not directed at you, just using your reply as a talking point).- I'd have a 7* Malak quicker if we skipped Geos, but that's about the only reason I'd go back and its probably not worth it. I'm just hoarding mod slicing material and gear to max him asap once 7*.
- i do believe there is a cutoff on which TB you should choose based on how many stars you achieved in GEO TB, but I'm not sure what it would be. Anybody have thoughts on this? I'd just compare the screenshot of geo rewards and DSTB rewards and decide as a guild.
