Get a handle on this.

This new event needs damage control. My shard chat just had at least a 1/4 of its members talk about quitting with the news of this release. This has NEVER been the case before.
Anyone else experiencing this?

For now, yes. Whether the change is actually for the better or worse in the long run will be seen once we know how hard it is to get the new gear after its period of exclusivity. If it means requiring less stun guns and such from now on, I'm all for it.

Plus the new fear might be in the new tb map rewards and possibly in the next raid also so it coukd become easier to get
  • I like that it’s such a tough event. Gives newbies a long term challenge like most of us older players faced. It also prevents arena being flooded with premier toons. Only those that expertly prepared or had the cash to prepare get a huge advantage but overall gameplay isn’t terribly affected because only a handful in the first release will be able to obtain.
  • If it hasn't been made clear by now, the game is made for those who pay. You can't keep the doors open if you can't pay the employees. That being said, a bone in the form of level 10 holotable content would be nice.

How many MILLION dollars does a simplistic mobile phone game need to make before people stop using this argument? It's all greedy tactics. They don't want the many tasting the good things. That is something i despise, however it's a legitimate business models, only keep the heavily paying customers in the loop. Ok we get it.

P.S. Sorry for the late reply.

  • The Padme event so quickly following the Malak event would be concerning to me if I were a consistent spender (I have spent to make sure I get Hero's Journey characters in the past, and ask for Google Play gift cards at gift giving events because I'm fortunate and want for nothing).

If you're going to pay X amount to secure a reasonable arena income, we've been conditioned by past behavior to expect about three months of arena dominance. If the videos are accurate and Padme teams are easily handling Malak comps already, then a big heaping dose of trust just went out the window. As someone who has spent, I definitely felt the urge to "keep up" with my guild, but the lack of trust led me to keep my wallet in my pocket.

If Padme turns out to be an arena / TW / GA requirement then I'll be behind for three months. If she turns out to be a key part of the Geonosis TB, then I won't be helping out my guild as much as I'd like. If she, like her gear, turns out to be a nice to have (and by that, I mean blatant cash grab) then I'll feel for anyone who spent on her.
  • I think the quit already

I was like 240 in arena so tried out Padmé couldn't kill anything. Got frustrated put in a scrubs team to drop to the point where she's useful...

2 days later I'm still 285 in arena and I can't beat any of these teams with Padmé

Good news there's less than 300 active people on this shard
  • This game used to be so good and now it sucks, every time I play it crashes like five or six times
