I agree with most of this.
TL;DR - Ships suffer from lack of diversity.
CG : "Let's slow down capitol ship acquisition and put newer, event-required characters like Shaak Ti in ship nodes".
At least they are viable at 5*, but yes delaying the inevitable slow change meta, is not the same as adding diversity.
Also as per tophat in the podcast. This is something they recognized and are working on.
So negotiator, malovence + another 1 or 2 ?? Cap ships incoming. My bet it will be FO.
