There is no info about the 2 attempts being shared among both tiers of event. I'm disappointed because I've spent 2 attempts on tier 1 just to find out that I cannot participate in bonus tier anymore.

I'm stuck in an infinite loop of killing all mobs, altar won't die, mobs respawn...I'm on at least 12 respawn waves.
