Going Back to past TB phases....

Ok, so I am hoping the Devs (@CG_Kozispoon, @CG_RyDiggs ) or someone can clarify (with real facts please).

If a guild doesn't complete/attempt phase 1 during the first phase time (0-23 hours), when the second phase time opens (hours 24-47), the guild can then attempt the first territory and when they successfully pass it, they can immediately go into the next territory/(ies).

So in theory, by the 6th and last phase (hours 120-144 and if each member has the time) a guild could essentially essentially do the entire TB during that last phase (6). Is that correct??

I am also assuming that once you do a combat mission, your contribution is locked no matter what phase you are in.

This could be true, but also remember that our characters refresh after the next phase begin, so you might miss out on the roster refresh to reuse some of those characters.

So does that mean during each phase, I can redeploy my entire roster to territory 1 to help get it to 3 stars?

No, Phases can only be effected during the period they are open. Once a phase is closed you are locked in, unless you got 0 stars in which case you are still in that phase.

What closes a phase and where did you read/see that?

All the YouTube videos put out by the game changers program members say the are at fixed times. They start and end at fixed times. Also the notes that the devs gave us day:

"Territory Battles are a three day Guild event consisting of six phases that are each 12 hours long. After each phase, units that were used previously are reset to be used again. The first phase begins at 6AM local time, based on the time zone of the founding Guild Leader."

That has been amended to be 24 hour periods I believe. So phases close at those set times.

Phases close..that's fine, but can you use any phase toons anywhere on the territory map? Am starting to imagine this like it is Risk (the board game) and each "phase" is like a turn when you are putting your armies on the map. Just need to know if that is a correct assessment.

Got it...But can you deploy any current phase units across anywhere on the map? I am starting to imagine this like the game of Risk ( the board game) where a phase is like a turn to put your armies on the map.
  • Phase one opens. You use absolutely everything you have on that one phase. 24 hours later if you got at least one star it closes. You're done with it. You don't touch it again. All your characters refresh, and you use everything on phase 2 in that new 24 hr window.

If you start phase 1, and fail to get at least 1 star in 24 hour when the phase is supposed to close you just repeat that phase instead. All your toons refresh, and you add more points. But now you can't get to phase 6 because you only get 6 24 hr periods. If you need 2 of them to get through a phase then there is no way to rush though and catch up.

sorry if this is a repeat but, where did you read or see this? From the videos, I didn't get that at all.

This answer explains observations/reason for thinking that once territory is 1*+, can't go back in later phase.

  • When you look at the pictures of later phases, all previous territories with one star are grayed out and there's no deployment icon for them.
Basically, once you finish a phase with any number of stars, that unlocks the next territory in progression (left to right) and the previous territory is locked and you can't go back.
  • I don't know why you would want to go backwards. I'd move forwards to try and complete special missions. Splitting your focus to phases you've already gone past will make certain you don't max star count in your current phase.
