I tend to agree, that Yoda Event will be back permanently with no time limit anymore.
So it will be a nice suprise and everyone happy.
That would be lazy and boring. I wouldn't be happy, so not everyone would be "happy" with that. I have Yoda at 7* because I didn't procrastinate and grinded my ass off to get him the second time. He should come back once a month. HOWEVER, if the yoda event was replayable for the same rewards but no shards once per week, then sure bring him back permanently.
