Grand Arena - My last defense was not set

My fault for waiting ... I got busy at work and didn't set any defenses this afternoon. I did set defenses in the last 3v3 ... why did they not get used automatically? Did this "feature" too get "reset'? Anyone else have this happen? I am now unable to win a very beatable matchup in the highest GP category tier. Nice.

    They had turned it off according to a Dev post. However; I don't think it auto deploys based on a previous GA event. It will only auto deploy in the 2nd and 3rd round based on your previous round.

    This is correct. Previous GA defenses do not carry any longer forward in between GAs.
