- "Grand Arena matchmaking is now entirely partitioned by League."
"here’s what you can look forward to in future posts: GP Divisions"
These two statements contradict each other. Can we please have this clarified? "DinoConV;c-1872926" wrote:
Are there going to be GP brackets within the leagues? Matching someone at less than 2m with someone over 4m doesn't seem fair at all?
I suppose GP MUST still be used to determine map size right? Squads needed?
If the 2M player has Revan, Drevan and Malak then they can compete with people in the 4M bracket- if they sandbagging mods, just put one team on defense. It will cost them enough points to not win it all lol
- The max ammount of players I can see together in one GA championship is 4096 (8*8*8*8). So I guess that can be the maximum size of a bracket. The closest 4096 players based on Gp won't have the same GP, but not as far as 1 or 2 M apart.
- Unless I'm mistaken, they'll be matching based on your GW rank as well as gp. So you might go up against someone tough to start, but the players will separate themselves by rank as more wars happen. So the mismatches will sort themselves out. I'm actually really excited. It seems that we'll be soon matched almost evenly. Think, clash of clans matching (if you've ever played that game).
- So they said that they will give us more info in the next weeks and you just jump into conclusions after the first announcement and say that they didn't do anything about it. Congratulations, you are one more of those people that complain about everything for no reason.
- I'm really looking forward to this. Love GA and this looks like a great addition.
- Looking forward to it!

I’m most interested in the GP bracket:reward ratio. The best part of GA in the past was the equal rewards for newer and older players. This equality allowed us another game mode outside of squad arena where we can be competitive and not fall further behind the long time players.
I struggle to understand this view. Why should someone who has invested no money into the game be able to achieve better rewards for beating easier players than someone who has spent thousands does for beating slightly less but much harder players? A ftp player who has only ever gotten the meta and GA/TW teams would be rewarded for not investing in the game with opponents they could more easily defeat, while players who bulked up would not only not benefit, but literally be punished with more difficult opponents. That seems absurd- REVAN
REVAN
REVAN
REVAN
REVAN
AND MAYBE
REVAN.
THE END.
