In the past GAC format your GAC matches were locked in via GP brackets. Where your roster choices and skill heavily influenced the outcome of every match. Which resulted in hyper focused GAC rosters, who would fighter other equally focus rosters making for some of the most amazing gameplay.

Every forum posts complaining about previous matchmaking and my numerous easy victories in the old system (and there was a lot of both) beg to differ.
