Great Mothers Totally imbalanced

Great Mothers is totally imbalanced in TW with this datacron.  Not a single Galactic Legend can beat them really if they have Merrin in the team and proper modding, relics, and the current DC9.  Really you can't even kill anyone unless GLO gets lucky doomed on Jyn lol.  I've never seen such a Broken Marquee team in my life and suspect CG never even considered what Merrin or even DT peridia would do inside this team instead of their expected lineup.  Of course why would we expect CG to consider anything when it comes to TW they haven't in years.

  • It really is. Devalues everything else in the game, including Datacrons, Mods, R6-9, Omicrons, Zetas, GLs, Conquest Units, everything but it.

The simple solution is for players NOT to spend on this... but its probably too late given there's over 1000 R7/R8 units active, based on swgoh.gg data.   So the money is already in the bank for CG.

What will happen, is players that are moderate spenders will spend to get this unit to relic levels & the associated DC - which will give additional revenue to CG, thus ensuring that it happens again in future.

This is rewarding the P2P player and encouraging spending - which is exactly what CG wants to happen.

Like it or not, that is the reality.... congratulations CG on figuring this out.

As to game play, CG doesn't care about imbalance...

  • Of course it is, CG doesn't care about if Galactic Legends are the "top tier" or not, even though they told us Galactic Legends were the top tier.  Their priority is selling the "new shiny" and making it so power crept, players will go into FOMO mode for anything new.

It's pretty consistent for a couple years now that new characters are super duper.  GL's have a place, sometimes, but new marquees destroying GL's is acceptable to them because it increases revenue. Same as EA.

I wouldn't be surprised that if by December they are selling "Blue" for 20 dollars.
