I wonder how many peeps are thinking of quitting because of the Dagger Crap?

I'm seeing a lot of discussions on discord about how the Dagger changes made this game worse than it has ever been. Rather than fixing the cause of the new problem (Punishing One), the decision was made to take away players investments in a Levi kit that worked fine. Now many players can't even complete their battles without timing out, thus creating ANOTHER time wasting mechanic for those that have been loyal to the game, through its ups and down.

Reversing the Dagger changes and nerfing something on the PO kit  would seem the only appropriate solution.

Just forwarding feedback from the masses.

  • A lot of us. Frankly, my entire guild. CG is either too stupid or too ignorant to revert this change. But simply put…..this WILL go down as the the moment the game died.

  • I'm not at the point of quitting, because CG has done similar stuff before, but I'm probably at my most annoyed with them. The change has done nothing to fix the problem (still easily beaten by 3 star P1 fleets) but completely ruined the mirror meta.

I honestly can't wrap my head CG's true intentions anymore.

The annoying part is that they are providing those platforms to be able "to listen" to their players and you just feel to be completely ignored. And honestly it is even more frustrating as I started to spend money on the game and I am only getting back no support at all. My shard was dominated by Levis, all full blown with RL 8 and 9 pilots, and now a P1 with 3 Stars took a lead, after the "fix"? It is beyond acceptable that they pretend to fix something and actually it feels worse than before. If not quitting, at least I think I will go back to not spending any money again as this is just more frustrating than being a F2P player.

  • This whole thing is so overblown.  We're outraged because a year and a half after Lev's debut, there's now a soft counter to it?  I spose you're still angry CLS isn't the meta anymore.

I don't care about the counter. My complaint was that CG effectively nerfed a perfectly functioning LEVI without addressing the Ship that actually was the cause of the problem. They could have just left everything alone and the result would have been the same. Except they wouldn't have pissed off those that had invested in the previous META.

You guys always invest in the latest meta and are always made when its no longer the meta.  The Lev still is the meta.  You'll have something to waste your money on that could be going to far better sources soon enough.

Why do you think they keep trying to recruit new players?  They're more focused on that lately than on loyal players.  It's become a game of quantity and quality's priority is getting lower all the time.

It's not just because of the TIE Dagger changes, that might merely be a catalyst to people leaving.  This should've been something they saw BEFORE they released the Punishing One.  There might be almost 400 characters, but there are only 11 fleets.  Testing those 11 fleets should take one Dev about two hours to do for offense and defense.  Let alone that just testing the main meta fleets would take about 15 minutes to see what is broken.

Yet again CG is causing a problem and will probably be selling us a solution within the next month or two.  If they're even paying attention that is.

  • Players always are upset with new changes, but we always adapt and improve because of it.

  • That is why it is important not to put money into the game. In the end cg has you by the balls for putting money in.

Be 100% f2p and cg will listen to the players.

the smart money is no money! i haven't spent a dime for almost 4 years now. ever since the Ahnald banning fiasco. i've been waiting for CG to earn that privilege back.

A fool and their money are soon parted.  Words to live by in the age of microtransactions.

Yeah, its the main reason I don't spend. You're literally paying CG to make the game harder for you.

  • Had 2 people leave because of this garbage game with this clueless developer. Thank you CG for running the game into the ground.
Amazing work. You all clearly know what you're doing for the longevity of the game.

  • People are leaving, no doubt about it.     Most that I hear from say it isn't just this disaster, but a long list of things.   The game is in decay and CG keeps screwing up over and over.    This train wreck is just the straw that the camel cannot carry.

Things are definitely slowing down. With  the introduction of timed events (raids) and buffs (datacron) CG have kinda hit the wall on providing new, quality content. All they can do now is provide a temporary fix to keep people spending because the whales are pretty much maxing new content as soon as it comes out. Other than new characters the game just feels stale.

try being a newer account that built for Profundity... they've completely neutered this fleet in GAC and Fleet Arena vs Executors.
