The day before these huge energy sink events happen all you need to do is do your dailies then stop ( do this before first free energy ). Quest no more except for cantina and GW. Wait until energy is full then refresh twice, while collecting your daily energy. At server reset do the same with 2 refreshes and wait, and grab your free energy. Once guild activity changes then use all your energy. If done right you will have 800-900 energy to use according to your lvl. At server reset refresh 2 more times. You should be able to use around 1400-1600 energy on these days.
