time for guild hopping restrictions to be applied, i say if a player leaves a guild or even kicked, he must not be able to join a new guild within 48 hrs, that should stop these loophole abusers from doing this, im sorry but i see this as an exploit being abused.
There are still a lot of regular players that are not on the forums that that type of arbitrary number actually hurts them. Most join a guild see its no good and leave till they find one. This could leave them with over a week or more without a guild.
Example: player doesn't like his guild and leaves, waits 2 days. Joins a guild that is recommended in app. They are awful or raids don't work for him. He leaves, waits two days. And continues this process.
This player is penalized because what you all forget is there are THOUSANDS of players that are in game and not on the forums. They don't have the friendships that maybe the few hundred of players on the forums have and join an alliance based off of that. They rely solely on the ingame function of finding a guild. Which doesn't tell them anything or let them talk to them ahead of time.
Solution. Do not leave a guild until you have a new one (just like a job). Then they would just need to wait the 48 hours.
Or if they are that finicky, start their own guild.
This issue would affect a miniscule population of who the guild hopping is effecting. Either case, not really a valid reason.
Obviously you aren't looking at this from a non forum member player, they can't talk to another guild ingame. This isn't a job. They can only talk to a guild person who is in their guild, so most join then they can talk. If they don't like it or its a stagnant guild they move on. And do it again. Like I said you have to think of the thousands of players who aren't forum members.
The vote about guild hopping had 100 total votes. This game has Thousands of guilds. The guild players in the game that don't do the forum stuff are actually the majority, not considering them in your thoughts is plain selfish.
There have been good ideas about locking people in once they participate in a raid for 2 days to that guild. That allows the majority of players (not on forums) to join and leave guilds as they please until they find a decent one. While locking in raiding players to their respective guilds so no hopping for rewards.
And the thousands your speak for who can't be on the forums and know no one from other guilds cannot coordinate guild hopping either which effects then more in game wouldn't you think?
You know because the point of the game is to gear up and compete against others. So this fix would not have to be permanent but should be implemented immediately as its better than nothing and outweighs the other side of being slightly inconvenienced.
Slightly inconvenienced vs purpose of the game? You decide. Make sure you ask all the players who play though, we wouldn't want anyone feeling left out. And when it's 90/10 split on this change let's not do anything because it's not a consensus.
