It works by getting more raids in than someone who stays in a guild. I.e exploiting the 50 limit cap on a guild by being active in multiple guilds at the same time and being able to move freely between these guilds at pre planned times to raid more than you could if you were active in just one guild.

Which.... 9 out of 10 people think is bad for the game.
