"Unfortunately, I doubt we would have a patch in place before someone earns Solo, and because of that, and also because of the upcoming holiday, we've opted to allow it to be for the moment."

Above is a quote from the original conversation regarding this issue. Reading over those comments shows that guild hoping was not intended by the devs, that it will be corrected.

What irks me is the only reason it's being allowed and blessed by the devs for now is because of their long holiday weekend coming up.
