Well, I wasn't implying that it wasn't a big deal and we should all move on.
Though, there is some truth to that.
I've been playing since January. For me, that's quite a long time. I've also spent quite a bit more money than I usually do for a game. Not much, but much more than I would typically.
This is because my love of the genre and I've always felt this game was very balanced amongst all players. For many months, ftp was not significantly far behind p2p. It was not dominated by the players that have absolutely no life.
But times, they are a'changin.
There are many other games I've played that I just get frustrated with and move on from, for this very reason.
So. This is the line in the sand. The day the people with no life figured out how to work the system.
So, kgoslIng, you're right. It's not worth getting upset about, but I am disappointed. Especially disappointed that it seems it is entirely condoned by the devs.
I'm sure that as time goes by, and more and more people with no life continue grow exponentially faster than me, that I'll lose interest and I'll stop playing, just like all the other games. They got my pound of flesh, but I'll move on, and probably, be better off.
So, I bow down to you, pre-crafters and guild hoppers alike.
