Guild Transition Time

I have a quick question about this if anyone could help me please. My guild broke up into 3 different guilds. I left and he entered my old killed several times to find out information about one of the new guilds, and now I am locked out of joining a guild after being sent an invitation. Is there a time limit on the invitation and how long do I have to wait before I am not locked out anymore? I'm not a guild Hopper so I don't really know the answer.
