Coin Flip My @$$

My Levi is max speed. I want an explanation as to why I lose the "coin flip" every f-ing time.  I am not exaggerating when I say I have been keeping count, and I've lost the coin flip 13 of the last 15 battles.

Congrats, CG. You took the one area of the game that actually paid out fairly for the work we put in, the one area of the game that kept the playing field even slightly level, and blew it up for no reason at all.  And you know it, and now you're hiding behind a stack of boxes like Michael Scott in the warehouse hoping nobody finds you.  Just own your mistake, you cowards.

Because the AI is given advantage to beat players.  I've gone 11 mirrors in a row going second recently, I'm on another streak of 5 or 6 at this point.  Both in GAC and fleet arena.

It's not a priority for CG because it just means they pay out less crystals to players.  Their priority right now is getting their subscription model setup to run so they have a consistent revenue stream running every month.  I'm sure we'll get new ships soon enough that will destroy anything we currently have.  And if you don't have them, oh well!

Same with dozens of other bugs that impact players, not a priority because it's pvp relevant, not PVE.  (Same as why GAC and TW are ignored by CG.)

I have tracked mine nearly a week now.  Seems to flip daily.

Sun 0/7, mon 2/2, tues 0/8, wed 2/2, thurs 0/5, fri 2/3, sat so far 0/4.  Thats utter bs and that isnt rng unless its 80% the ai wins and not 50/50.

      Fleet is now total garbage

AI has never been given advantage before this, so if what you say is true, then they made that change on purpose, and there would be no reason to do that other than to intentionally screw us over. If that's the case, it's worse than bad planning or faulty coding, and it goes beyond disregarding your players' needs. It's purely an act of "Dear players, go f#ck yourselves."

The AI is given advantage in many ways.  CG has the AI target specific characters at higher rates than others, for example.  If you put Traya against a Sith Empire team, Traya will always be the target of attacks.  (Because if they didn't do that, Traya would beat DR teams easily.)

And a few years ago I recorded one AI fleet ship dodging 14 of 15 attacks by me.  That wasn't just "2%" and no evasion up.  That was the AI saying, "Nah, don't wanna lose."  The AI used to dodge 10 times in a row all the time.  How many times has one of your ships dodged 10 times in a row?  I've been here over 7 years and when one of mine does, I'll say so.

Hey CH, here is your fix.  Introduce an ability called “initiative”. If in a fleet mirror, the attacker goes first. Always.  Attackers always have the initiative.  Look it up, it’s universal known for military’s.

they will implement it and break 10 other things. better suck it up and hope the next fleet will break every other fleet (which im 10000% sure will happen), because of extensive testing. Sadly thats what CG is known for in the last 3-4 years

  • Yeah I agree, based on my own experiences, those of my shard mates, and other people I've talked to, there's no way it's a 50/50 coin flip. The other day I lost the coin flip 10 times in a row, the day after it was 8 times. And on almost all other days I lost like 3-4 in a row before I finally won one. There were only like 2 days total where I won the coin flip within 1 or 2 battles. It seems to be more like 25/75 and not 50/50. Almost everyone else reported pretty similar numbers. If it really was a 50/50 coin flip, there's no way hundreds of people have been "just unlucky" in thousands of battles. That's not how probabilities work. I have no idea how feasible this is or if it would require hacking, but if it doesn't require hacking, is it perhaps possible for some coders or dataminers to find out if the AI is coded to have a higher percentage of winning the coin flip? If this data can somehow be made viewable, I'd be really curious to see the results. Because I'm 99% sure at this point that it is rigged, I just want a solid confirmation.
