Guilds and n Recruitment

Well, unfortunately, you have a small GP guild.  I'm in a 480M GP guild and we have tons of issues recruiting new members.  A major problem is there are a bunch of "entitled" players out there.  The kinds that say I have a 2M GP account and need a guild getting 30 Reva shards and top 3 box in the raid when they obviously can't do anything to help that type of guild.  Any player looking that has a top roster will get probably 30 to 50 offers in a hour.

Recruiting has always been hard in this game and I doubt it gets any better.  Your best option, which you have mentioned is a merger.  Fortunately, I learned pretty early not to stick to a guild just based on loyalty.  I stayed with my first guild for way too long and it really held me back.  It got to the point, the leader went completely MIA.  After enough struggles not being able to beat the Traya raid, I had had enough and left even those I was an officer.  I eventually ended up in the guild I am in now and have been here for years.  The name of the game is progress.  It your guild isn't progressing, people will leave because they aren't getting the rewards they need to progress their own rosters.
