Its very simple, retreating restart the match exactly as it was when the match started. If all of your characters have full health at the beginning on the match and your having a bad match, you retreat and your back to full health.
If you start a match with one character at 50% health and your having a bad match and retreat you start with that character at 50%. Its not hard to understand.
To everyone crying about the debuffs not being removed get over it, it was an unfair exploit anyway. Whats the point of there being a debuff if all you have to do is retreat when it gets used. If a match isnt going your way then just retreat and try it again using a different method, if you still cant win then build a stronger team, your no more entitled to a guarantee of finishing gw than you are getting first place on arean.
Waaa waaa waa. I want it now now now. Get over yourselves.
lol, the force close (new retreat) is an even worse system. The game replays the battle in the exact same manner every time. So if you use trial and error system (and have a lot of time on your hands), you can still walk your way through to the end. How is this any better?
The retreat button required strategy to change lineups and reduce cooldowns. This new option is not strategic. You can't change toons mid battle and if your healers die, you are lost.
