I have all 5 era characters at level 65 and 3 star. There’s no way to progress them without spending money or crystals to get the up to 4 star. It’s not just a slow grind, it’s close to impossible for a F2P. This makes colosseum pointless.
That was their plan. If you read meathead’s post about the era, they expected most F2P players to make 65. As far as stars, you could have leveled using crystals to buy shard packs.
CG said at the beginning of the Era that 65 is where they expect most players to be by the end of the Era. You've hit 65. What more do you want?
Plus if you look at L70+ the requirements are only available by money purchases, not even crystals
I buy the episode pass to get them to 4* and get extra materials but stuck with everything at Lv70.
Granted they said f2p Lv65 but there's now no real incentive for buying the episode pass, getting to 4* is easily achievable with a few roles of the dice.
The aim was to enable players to work on old characters while working on new characters. Getting 7 characters all in one go at R12 but not being able to get to them to relic doesn't achieve this, it just pushes the problem down the line.
Given that collessum already controls every detail of progression, damage and strategy they could massively incentivse people to spend crystals, money on episode passes, time in game by enabling significant progress to be made. An all or nothing approach to spend 100s or spend nothing feels very short sighted
With a crystal stash it is possible to get all to level 75 if you get maul to 5 star. His event gives a load of era mats. Could have taken him to era80 (converts relic 2) or all current to level 75 (converts g13, up from g12 at era70). I went with all era75 to save all those g13 mats for scavenging to high relic stuff.
I used crystals to get them all to 5* during their event from choda on, then I went and got a few crystal packs for Luke and IG90 to get them 5 star too.
I'm not saying this is realistic for players that don't have kyber GAC crystal income, but it is ftp possible for some players to get era75.
I didn't keep close track, but I think around 30k crystals used overall would do it. So I wouldn't be able to do this every era, but I think if I saved I could make this happen in each alternate era.
Untrue. Tier 2 of Maul's unlock event gives the purple mats to level up to 75.
Where did you get the info about level 75 converting to g13? I haven’t seen anything since the original CG post where it had the 65=g12 80=r2 95=I can’t remember.
Open the era character tab. Click on any toon. Then click on the ! At the top left corner
I want Coliseum to disappear when I've maxed out my squad.
Maybe it does when you get all 7 toons to 95.
