It is that simple because that’s how it works. That’s pretty much the definition of equalization, to make everything equal. If you want your brother to get 6 apples and you remain at 10, that’s not equalizing, that’s healing.
If the 10 apples is the focus of your rule number 3, then nothing happens? Then what’s the point of equalizing? What’s the point of having that ability at all?
