traya and sion will still be able to beat them even with your suggested changes, so yea.. might as well leave them as is.
Not quite. The point of my statement was that it's not going to affect anyone who uses strategy to overcome the difficulty. This is a strategy game after all. We are talking about methodology and interpretation, but we are also talking about understanding what is being stated. We are talking about perspective. From one perspective, it's completely invalid and this "method" is absolutely not what it should be doing. From a second perspective, the way things were done before is entirely different and they are talking about keeping that same methodology.
You're using a lot of words, but you're basically saying nothing in this entire paragraph. I'm completely lost on the point you're trying to make about perspective to be honest. I just don't understand what you're trying to say.
The 2nd perspective is focussing on an entirely different aspect of the "issue" than the first perspective, so it's not really a different perspective. It's just confusing as heck to me.
I am not trying to make this post because I think the designer didn't so something correctly, I am making this post, discussing the issue because when you look at what was intended it doesn't make any sense. What was, doesn't mean it should be the only way to do something. The point of development is continually improving the product. This applies to all forms of engineering. Again, it Should be changed, and I'd love the opportunity to discuss the reasons why with an actual developer who can sit and listen to the players perspective.
If that's not what you were trying to do, you might have to re-consider your thread title.
I don't know why you think that your way of looking at the ability and the designer's intent is the only correct way of looking at it. I think it's far more likely that the ability is doing exactly what the designer intended for it to do than the other way around. Afterall, health equalization has always worked like this. If they didn't intended it to work like this, they had every oppertunity to change it, but they didn't.
You think it should be changed, which is a valid opinion to have, but it's not a fact.
I encourage someone to read this thread, to process the comments and conversation on both sides and actually formulate their own opinion. Essentially, we have an issue and I made this thread because I want to discuss it. Posting to tell me that "Traya and Darth Revan will still be stronger" is a waste of everyone's time and energy. Again, it's about what the actual intent of the kit is, we are talking about the fine details and the missed opportunity to push the community strategically in terms of offense and defense capabilities.
May i remind you that you were the one that said traya will still be stronger. I obviously share your opinion that bringing that up was a waste of time, that's why i threw it back at you. Probably not the best way to go about it and in hindsight it obviously didn't work since you're accusing me of bringing it up and wasting everyone's energy. haha
And again, you don't know what the actual intent of the kit is. You can share your opinion on what you think the intent is, but others may disagree. Personally i'm not interrested in the intent at all, i'm interrested in the end result. I don't have any issues with the end result/how it currently works and i don't think your suggestions will add more strategy.
