Hero's Journeys on Events calendar?

I don't remember the exact phrasing, but I will point out that everything is always subject to change and you never, ever know when they will spring a surprise on you. I know you don't want to hear "farm them ASAP so you're ready" but it's the only answer. They could come out today and say the next one won't be until July, and I'd still be wary that it would not hold true.

Legacy Hero’s journey events will "not necessarily" appear on the monthly calendar, unlike legacy legendary events. One week's notice is promised.

I appreciate this and it's a calculated risk. I only got my BB8 team ready a couple of days ago so am now farming Vets. I need to decide whether I'm going to invest real money into farming them from shipments as well as the cantina nodes or not. I'm on the fence - the cadence post says 3-4 months; if it's 3 months (ie early July) I'll need to spend but if it's 4 I can do it. I'm tempted to spend but I was hoping if there was a few weeks' warning I'd know in advance to stop wasting my money.

By my count 3 months would be mid-June and 4 months would be mid-July. JTR last came on March 15th. If you just started farming the Vets, you miiiight make it if she comes in July but are probably going to have to spend like crazy for June.

My memory must be going - I thought it was in April, was so sure that I didn't even check swgoh events! Looks like there's little chance of me doing it without some heavy spending, which I'm not prepared to do. My wallet thanks you!

Crab its my turn to help u, it was def. In March bc ppl were freaking out, actually there should still be a thread available in this sub- forum titled jtr in 2 days, or something as such and u can look at the original date it was posted to verify.

If you just started I would recommend you spend anyway. When I finished Chewy and started Han I made excel spreadsheet for my Han shards and i am on day 28 with 99 more to go to 7 star him so if you are "lucky" as I am there is no way to make it even for july

Given the next one is likely to be June or July, e one after is probably going to be late August at the earliest. I have no chance of getting her next time without making it rain but I think spending to get her the time after that seems unnecessary.

If you give your player base enough notice for very important events like the hero's journeys, absolutely NO ONE will buy the packs to complete them. No one with a brain, anyway. Obviously, you can't state something like this in front of your player base as a game developer or marketing expert. I think that having notice for other events and hints like "if they make bb8 they could be making Rey as well" is just enough and maybe it's even quite generous.
