Hoda/C3PO & Relics

There are plenty of mastery that give characters special crit up % and the character has no special damage moves. These relics are based off the characters tags e.g tank,healer, support .... And also the characters main stat e.g agility, strength,tactics , which means that the characters kit has not been taking into thought this is just gear 13+7 ,just because it's a specific relic which is meant to be unique to the toon doesn't mean they made the stats toon specific.

Some characters will benefit more than others basically the devs have never played this game.

I understand the mechanics, I'm just saying that from Even a whales perspective there is no reason to relic these characters.

I like Hoda but for these non damage classes they should have some exceptions to the rest with certain profession systems. I want a good reason to Relic these characters.

Right now, there is no point putting any relics on these characters. B1 battle droid could also use a minor relic touch up. (Can't crit)

Both call a lot of assists, which makes up for their lack of attack.

Edit: Nevermind, the assists aren't dependent on their relics, so the relics wouldn't help in this case.

Both gain quite a bit of health, around 20%. Resistence and armor also help in making them tankier. As they can be hit and damaged (mass dispels are a thing), it is somewhat of a help. For HYoda it also makes his health equalization better, I guess.

I don't quite get the problem with B1 though. His damage goes from 4107 to 7090. That is a massive 75% damage increase. It's like 3000 reasons to give it a relic.

My R1 droideka's damage is 7492 and B1 at G12+2 is 4310. Both B1 and droideka will have over 10k damage with mods at R7. Both assist. Why wouldn't you take them to R7?

plus all toons at Relic 7 are getting another ability so theres another reason....

He's a non-taunting tank and keeps getting prot, health steal and def with the relic...lol.
He needs damage, DAMAGE.

He's CLS because this is a star wars game and that's what people care about, same way people rightfully care about how ill thought through some of these ICONIC relics are.

They could have had a lot more fun coming up with better relics, that's for sure.

It's a good thing then that he increases his damage by 40% and his crit chance jumps from 35 to 50.

It is not an increase as chunky as b1's 75%, though, but when one considers both damage and cc, it's an increase of 49% in his damagd output (before mods).
