so in a pvp mode,you want this guy to let you get above him. this is absolute nonsense. GET GOOD AND STOP ASKING FOR PARTICIPATION TROPHIES.
This, certainly not a case of the OP actually being cool man.
If the guy is cheating fine report him, if he isn't OP should stop being such a baby.
I think you're missing the point. It's not about "I can't beat this guy". It's about a gentleman's agreement of "Hey, it's my Pay Out hour. Don't knock me out of position, allow me to collect the reward and then you can snipe me all you want".
He can spend crystals all day long, but just do the gentlemanly thing and allow someone else to get a proper payout when their time comes.
But as someone stated previously, probably the most ideal thing to be is... let the guy have 1st so he can't snipe. The stress and strain of trying to maintain your spot before getting sniped again goes away. The difference is not THAT much, and if you go in with the expectation that you're going to get 2nd place prize money, then there's really no hurt feelings. You don't get any "reward" for being in 1st place - other than the slightly higher payouts.
The guy is a **bleep** (even though, technically, he's well within the rules of the game to act like this), so I feel your pain.
