That might be what's going on. I have an iphone 8, does that maintain a wifi signal even through airplane mode?
And if my phone does maintain a wifi connection despite airplane mode, does that mean that I need to disable my wifi connection and data instead of airplane mode? That airplane mode does nothing for me?
