How do you like the new look?

Well, sadly, after several weeks into new canteen design, l don’t. More advanced dynamic layout feels confusing and disconnected. There’s little journey or intuitive link between high resolution elements and unfamiliar characters. However my last straw to post a negative feedback is the new bartender with - how to put this nicely- highly unpleasant voice and quite unremarkable comments. If you could add ‘mute bartender’ to the audio settings, so I don’t need to rush clicking anywhere to skip her ‘ready to play some more huh’. I really miss her previous version quietly chatting to a visitor.

    There is some good stuff, yes, event table sure is one, though it would have been better to go through summary/stats screen first, not jump straight into the battle zone. To check the stats you’d need to jump out and search within events or solve the puzzle by clicking guild avatar on top. Feels crude, not thought through enough. Disagree on one room concept, heroes vs ships split made much more sense, as this is how you build and battle in the game. Same reason cabinet comes with more than a single draw - so you can logically sort and find things. Overall it feels like shift to cgi at the expense of good story, yet it’s the story that made star wars famous.

  • It's going to take getting used to, but things like the guild events having a table so you can see current status is pretty awesome.  Like, you can look at the table and see TB Phase you're at, how many stars, and for Raids, what the status is, how many attempts you've made, for GAC you can see the score out front, and so on.  Plus, it's all in one room which makes it easier to navigate between options instead of going to other rooms for things.

    Shard shop had a direct access far right before update. I'm aware I can still get there by scrolling down to the very bottom, but it's inconvenient.

    Learning something new every day still! Poor audio engineers, all their hard work going to waste while we play mute lol

    It took me a long time to find challenges, luckily I was being directed with the dailies

    Also not having a direct access to (that I know of?) Shard shop is causing my already large stockpile of currency to grow bigger

  • I'm finding the 'bar of the little feet people'  layout a little difficult to get used to, especially guild stuff.  As of now, I prefer the old interface.  However, I played with that for 8 years or so......so it may take some time.

    I also don't play with sound so.....cannot comment about the bartender.  I'm not sure she and I are in a position to rebuild fences anyway.  I always remember, I felt a little down that when I first started the game, she was always engaging in conversations, being nice and helpful.  Then one day........she just stopped.  I'm not sure what I did to upset her, or maybe she just hits on fresh players but.... you know it's never nice to be chucked.

    Wow, does she talk? I've never really played with sound.

    It's fine. I'm getting used to the lahout, but it's still a little baffling why they swapped the general locations of some things (campaigns with arenas, events with galactic battles). Challenges being with events makes constructive sense, but being in a separate tab is a little off-putting.
