So, I see everyone posting about how this shard shop farming is not good for f2p. The only thing I can say is that it is ONLY bad if you want every single character in the game. By the time you get the requirements for this event, then theres a new event and you have to spend 2 months farming for that event. EA will always add new things to the game. The hard part is figuring out what you want to go after and what you will let go.
So, it brings me to my point. A f2p can go 1 of 2 ways. Either focus on 1 team, make then strong and geared and modded. Top in Arena. Get crystals, etc.
Or you can be the f2p that wants every single thing in the game. If you are this type of player, than this is not meant for you. There will ALWAYS be some event, some new character to farm, some new update or just something to farm.
Also, another thing. This shard shop farming is only something you would do for a few days. Maybe like 3 or 4 days. Then you go back to your normal farming. Unless there is a major event in the next 6 days (like BB-8). You don't need every single character right this second. Same when you are farming mods. Take about 3 days or so, farm nothing but mods. Then you can go back to your normal farming.
At the end of the day. Gear is most important. You will have to decide what you really want to do I guess. After I finish my Empire team for R2, I might try this shard shop. Thanks for post!
