Save yourself the sim ticket and autobattle it! You even get a tiny bit more ally tokens, meaning a couple more chances at a bronzium pull. Not much of an edge, but it's better than a poke in the eye with a stick.

I didn't watch the videos, but I skimmed the data mined info and if it's accurate, it looks like Combat missions have three difficulties. At the lowest difficulty you just need five light side characters, at the medium difficulty you need, like, Hoths at 3* each. At the highest difficulty you need both at 6*, I think.
I don't know anything about special missions, couldn't be bothered to read up those requirements =P

You're correct. According to the original post, you get 1 Leia shard for completing that Special Mission. Since all rewards are shared equally amongst the whole guild, your one win gets 1 shard for everyone.
