Hyperaccelerator Disk not working as intended?

Hi, can someone explain to me how the Hyperaccelerator disk is supposed to work? I'm not seeing any additional damage being done to enemies after I've done damage to them. I was expecting to see enemi...

Ok, well I've never equipped that disk, so don't know if it's ever worked.

I always thought speedng these enemies up wasn't going to help, and you can get almost the equivalent effect from a 1 dot caustic emissions disk, but no speed up involved, or even having to hit them. After they've taken 2 turns they could have 4 dots and burning on them which is about 10% max health damage too.

That disk is a terrible use of your capacity.
