If you are still spending on this game in 2026 you need to get therapy. You have an addiction and are most likely depressed. 

Datacrons. They just make everything else feel so irrelevant. When I scope out my GAC opponent I don't even look at their roster. If they invest in datacrons then I just don't bother. Not because I can't still beat them, potentially, but because the slog fest just isn't fun.  I don't play this game to collect glowing boxes, I play it to collect characters. But none of the modes really have anything to do with that anymore so the whole thing just feels pointless. 14.5 GP and just on autopilot now. I invest in what helps the guild and do the bare min everywhere else and I'll be damned if I spend another cent. Before datacrons I was a pretty heavy spender.

When lightspeed bundles first came out they were $10 for a squad of 5 Relic 3. I bought them for Bugs, Nightsisters and garbage rebels. I had the feeling that we were just fish getting hooked by $$CG$$ and sure enough the price went up. Now $50 for one toon!!!  I don’t give a **bleep** if they are ChoreQuest toons or not $$CG$$ ain’t getting a fifty dollar bill outta my a$$!!! What’s next $200 dollars for a 7 star Leviathan?!?!  The only thing I do buy is the battle pass for the captive toon shards and zetas, omicrons and whatever. It seems though that the good stuff is being replaced by captive toon garbage gear and upgrade currency. Oh a one other reason why I don’t spend cash is this whole thing about the end of an era gear and currency being taken away and replaced with a pitiful amount of era currency. That’s all I can think about ATM about how much $$CG$$ is forcing me not to spend money on there Buggy a$$ game. 

Too many reasons to list but the high points would be concerns about the longevity of the game as players continue to leave, poor value in most of the offerings and just general lack of concern and communication by CG.  They screwed up the final day coliseum payout for many people last era and have been ignoring it for 2 months.  In general I feel they’ve checked out on the game, until that changes I don’t see swgoh as a good place to spend my entertainment $$.

Because sand.  It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.  

It’s an easy kill I did it in tw & a guild member in gac jmk cat & gk wampa cron added mine was only lvl3 cat insta kill vane then it’s over  that’s it it’s that simple 

I am planning on stopping spending because when they mixed up the shards for coliseum before the new Era, I had been put into a more heavy spending one. I was top 20-30 last coliseum, similar spending I am 100-200. The last mention on coliseum was concerned with FTP experience but the experience for spenders is more abysmal.

I usually get conquest pass plus, but the datacron change has me questioning this, I get it to give me several days at end of conquest. I usually hoard then after the first conquest level up a batch, this time I hoarded a bunch of mats, planning to get datacrons with shard shop currency. Turns out immediately after conquest it switched to new set. So I wasted money again. It’s now more than 700 crystals to get a datacron of the last set.

I am also concerned the Era system will delay preparing for next raid or make it more expensive to rush.

Overall the last 3-6 months has put me off spending a lot. Most of the changes have not suited my play style and I just don’t feel spending is adding to my enjoyment of the game anymore.

Your first mistake was believing I was going to spend at all.

Your second was not researching possible counters for the Vane DC.
