I have this to say.... if packs were at least reasonably priced they would get WAY more people buying into this game. (SO many other companies got this right it's sad)
Where are those games on the top grossing list? above or below, there are far more below then above this game. I'm not saying i dont agree about the pricing but they are doing something right.
League of leg nds, starcraft2, TF2, that's off the top of my head for starters.
you put this game in the same league as starcraft2? or really any PC game?
You asked for a game that has a successful business model with cheaper purchases.... here's some off the top of my head.
they have a completely different model and offer a completely different game experience. its just not a fair comparison.
Lol. Give it up. It's a free to play game model... enough said. Unless you're a EA fanboy....
no not at all. A game on a PC with the amount of content and variety that Starcraft2 and other PC games offer, of course they will pull in more money. this is a mobile game.
First... you can play this game on PC. Second... mobile game industry has a huge folLowing. WHat we're talking about is WORKING BUSINESS MODELS OF FTP GAMES.
Emulating a phone on your PC is not the same as developing a game to be played on a PC.
I play original Mario Bros. on my computer that doesn't make it a computer game.
but they are making a lot of money and they must know something. thats all.- I am ftp and I have almost every character at level 85 and 7 star. I just did the slow but steady appoarch. I even use crystals to get credits and not refresh energy. Like anything slow and steady wins the race. It is not hard to work at a few characters at a time and max them out.
If anything we need level cap increased to 90, more ability levels and gear levels. "Kyno;c-1164421" wrote:

I just dont think they would make more money by reducing prices. some more people will buy and other just wont. In PC game market there are more spenders willing to invest. There are a base of players that will not invest in a phone game no matter how low the price.
That is my point."Kyno;c-1164463" wrote:

My point is.... you're not entirely right. There are players called "dolphins " who've spent moderate amounts of money (I'm one) which would spend more if the prices came down."jejuzang;c-1164323" wrote:

Am I the only one who feels like we need to farm dozens of characters day after day in order to unlock something cool? I mean it's seriously overwhelming.
-With the flash events we know we're gonna need farmboy Luke for something, potentially Jedi Master Luke
-The whole Phoenix fiasco in which we had like a week notice to get Thrawn
-We now know we're gonna need the ewoks for something (presumably Jedi Master Luke, another raid, etc)
-Phoenix Ships for presumably Thrawn's capital ship and/or a ships raid
-Some people are speculating we're going to need Old Ben for something big
And for the cherry on top, they tell us this new game mode is going to make us use our entire roster. I mean seriously, I already struggle enough with gearing my actual Arena characters, because raids seem like they only give out Challenge gear and nothing else. But it seems like in the span of a few weeks it's being hinted that unless we farm all these characters and get them to a decent gear level, we're gonna miss out on a key component for the game or the next important release dcharacter. I don't know, as a F2P player I just feel like I'm drowning and with all these new things to farm it's difficult to keep up.

Yeah it is really confusing reading this from the start - At OP. Please keep in mind the alternative was tournaments. Unless thet bring back tournaments and don't include player names and guild information they would be a nightmare.
I for one enjoy getting the characters low star as a F2P and P2P still get to purchase them. Eventually they open for everyone.
I still prefer this style over tournaments because wow that was exhausting and time consuming and the frustration levels were so much worse. - Yet another complaint thread.... shocker. Just quit already. The negativity is old, redundant, and counter productive.
