HMF has synergy with any rebel capital ship, so it would have to have stiff written directly to rule that out. That would be pretty stink to have a cap ship that specifically excludes one of its faction ships.
A corvette is too small, even a Nebulon B frigate would be too small I think, and the smaller corellian cruisers didn't feature much outside of the x-wing games.
Profundity would be a good one I think.
But if you want more ships, I say more fighters is more important than capitals.
If you are after an Executor counter then an A-wing with a sacrifice to destroy Executor makes the most sense movie-wise. Would only work against Executor though. If give the A-wing a unique with high dodge chance and whenever it dodges it calls an ally to assist against the attacker. That'd give it good rebel fleet synergy outside of Executor matches too. Add some concussion missiles to daze or something that can't be evaded, then done.
If you want to nueter Executor in another way, give a rebel ship chaff, and maybe a scrambler to prevent target lock. An electronic warfare version of the B-wing maybe?
