If u wanna be competitive in arena, you make choices to that end. 7 starring barisse is not one of them.
Even a toon that IS good in arena is often better left at 6 or even 5 star, in order to add other important toons to the roster, first. Depends on your current situation and current state of your server of course. If 7 starring barisse is going to get you a yoda, fine. But u cant complain when someone beats u with anything, that u cant win because u need to 7 star your barisse, lol.

I find her incredibly useful even at 6 stars in helping me make sure I clear GW each day once I hit those last few fights, and yes my Yoda is only 6 stars and she's part of the team, but thanks for checking in.
The reality is that there are limited resources to go around. Working on Barriss might slow my Dooku a little, but so does working on anything but Dooku, and yet people have a dozen 'omg you MUST have X, Y, and Z for Rancors, and all these guys done for Events!'
And that doesn't change the fact that, as I said, I can beat Dooku teams. I just find them obnoxious/slower. GW's take long enough as it is without whiffing on 4 or 5 attacks in a row, which isn't restricted solely to Dooku teams, but he certainly doesn't help either.
I also said that I was in a fairly unimpressive bracket. I don't need to be pushing 100% srsbzns about the arena to find a character annoying.
