I think this is a very interesting post, with interesting views and us players licking a freshly inflicted wound.  In a few days, when the wound's scabbed over...views will be a little less toxic...I guess.  At the moment, I have a lot of things racing through my mind.

1. I agree with Darjelo.  I hate toxic criticism that is in no way constructive.  It's pointless.  However, how is it possible to be constructive?  CG don't listen.  They don't read the views.  They don't take any notice.  They don't have any idea what they're doing.  They don't care about the environment.  Unless you watch Meatball play StarGazer on Twitch, there's no avenue of even being heard!  What can you do but be like the OP, just use the forums to vent?  Sort of like praying to god.  Does anybody know if he (or CG) is listening?
2. Me personally, I'm a little relieved they've done this and gated it so high.  Personally, it was going to be a struggle for me to be ready for Mando on day 1 (or 20) anyway.  I had some decisions to make as to how hard I tried to get the new people ready.  The fact they've done this...has made the decision for me.  What's more...now, I don't really need to buy the next season pass either!  As I've been pushed into K3...I very much doubt I'll be meeting players that can get him on day one either!  A hurdle I see over the top of is an effort.  A hurdle that's higher than  the tippiest most hair on my pointy ears...nah... there's no point even worrying about it.  
3. What IS important to CG?  What's important to the players?  What do CG perceive as important to the players?  Where do they think is their future?  I'm one of the players that believes (I know many will disagree) that GAC is like that snowy bit on the top of Mt Fuji.  The crowning beauty of the mountain.  If I went for Mando GL man, it would be so I can crush my foes with the power of my fury-mousey might in GAC, and then laugh like Skeletor - 12 minutes into a He-Man episode.  However, It won't matter what I do, what I buy, what I farm...GAC (the snowy bit on Mt Fuji) is broken and doesn't look like it's getting fixed any time soon.  So why should I care or spend money? It won't help me achieve my goal of laughing like Skeletor.
4. A year ago I had faith in CG.  They at least knew what they were doing, even if we could not see it.  What they were doing was best for the game in the long run.  A year later, I have none.  I think they're utterly clueless.  Apparently, we're obsessed with farming anything glittery and new.  Anything else...meaningless.  I really cannot see how things can continue like this.  They're oblivious to the morale of the players and what we want or need to continue playing happily.  "37 years and beyond?" the guy in charge said?  Pffft...If the next 37 months go like the last year...we won't be here to see 2030.
