because this is a cash grab aimed at newbies, very underhanded by EA and CG tbh

I'd BUY Darth Maul for like 15 bucks, not upgrade, but flat out BUY. Assuming I get him starting at 5 stars.

I really think EA will earn more in total if it's like $3. Maybe they should hire me to think of their strategy plan.
Example:

• 10k sales of $3 = $30,000
  
• 1k sales of $16 = $16,000

Ball out! It may not be worth it from a logical standpoint. However, if you've got the money, you should buy it, JUST so you can say that you can afford it. That makes more sense in the long run.

And angering EVERY other player who has grinded out Rey and every other player who bought crystals to speed up hunting for shards or paid thousands in the shop for Rey and other shards.

Alienate a large group of your players and payers is a great way to destroy this game in short order...in fact it's tactics like this with other games in the past that have led to me requesting refunds. You cannot devalue other players investments like this and expect people to put forth any money.

You don't buy the shards m8. You only buy a couple levels and gear.

I had the same except for me it was $25. Lol

I geared my Daka to lvl 6 with what I had stockpiled (no farming gear required) and around 200k credits got me to lvl 43 (which allowed the lvl 6 gearing). I will wait til she's starred up before levelling her, using purple mats or farming more gear.

Would have been more tempting if it added stars....

Ouch... so them only sending to noobs puts me in that bracket? Thought I was above that.

I would think they more likely would've targeted me because I have spent $60 in game over multiple purchases.
