Is 5's still worth farming?
I've almost got Daka to 7* and was planning on farming 5's next, until I saw people saying he got nerfed.. So are people just being over dramatic or is he still good?

Yes, he's still worth it.
Browse the subject lines in the forums for the past few months and you will see a number of posts after the dev team fixed/nerfed/adjusted characters, starting with Barriss, and how people demand refund, will quit, will never spend money again.
Almost all of the characters that are the subject of these posts are still being played today. In fact, Barris is considered a must have in GW where people declared her absolutely worthless (like apparently Fives is today) right after the change.
