I was rereading the character release thread by CG TopHat. He said that legendary and heroic events would have at least one week notice...Bossk was announced last week ...is it wishful thinking or sho...

Bossk has been a thing longer.
Also they'll probably want to make Snoke a pretty big deal, which is why a lot of primary characters are delayed for a long time. They want those characters to impact the game.
