Is F2P dying a slow death?

Am I the only F2P/Dolphin who feels like after a dozen or so Marque events that the game is slowly being built towards whales, thus leaving us long-dedicated F2Ps out in the cold watching the game pic...

Can not say if it is dying or not. But the game definitely got too boring. They introduce one marquee after another which could be fun to use, maybe, but I can tell in a year or so... the grind got too boring as the ROI is taking too long.

I guess I would have uninstalled the game by now if I had not spent an embarrassing amount of money early in the game, which actually is the only factor that keeps me hanging on.

I am aware that there will be new content coming, like legendaries, or maybe a new TB table or whatever...but in order to enjoy those you will most likely need the toons introduced recently which most people wont have soon.
The raids already got boring. The 2 TBs a month can not make up for it.

FTP people will enjoy the game more, because there is nothing to regret in the end.
PTP people will be able to enjoy the game only when they constantly keep spending money. The advantage of spending one time is diminished with almost every update...
