It’s a word used in free to play mobile games. Which need to make money through micro transactions, the aim is to make money often by frustrating players by artificial ceilings and bottlenecks to progress or by being beaten by players with more progress. Then sell a fast track to progress. Success is in the balance, the aim is to frustrate enough to gain revenue but if they push too hard players leave and revenue drops anyway. So players must tolerate the level of frustration. They may lose some players but as long as profit margins are met and most players are enjoying the game more than being frustrated then the game is doing well.

If you buy a game upfront I would not expect the same methods to be used. This is why it’s acceptable for F2P to have slower progress (they get the game for free and enjoy all content) but what’s good in SWGOH is nothing is completely locked behind money it’s just about time investment and if you are impatient then you can pay to get it faster.

You all can’t be real. You essentially ignore your players left and right. Offer trash update after trash update. Increase gear crunches. Force feed us boring teams (have you spent 3 hours playing t3 of fanatical devotion)? Add new whaling items that are temporary and the vast majority of players seem to dislike.

But you fixed a datacron and Raddus, so I don’t the players should be happy…Seriously this game has to be run by like 1 person who logs into 17 different accounts to make it seem legit, no way a full team is involved in how little this game has grown in 2+ years
