Is this Working as Intended

So Bonus tier of Defense of Dathomir Dooku is basically immune to My Thrawns Fracture he still counters and he still gains Protection i cannot beat it. I cant do enough damage to him when under stealth so he doesnt counter. Also even with Tenacity down he doesnt get stunned. I am at a loss on what to do. I am Using CLS GMY Thrawn R2 and Baze. I might try a Emperor Palp team with shock to see if that works but i dunno.

Yes it is WAI, he has the raid boss tag in thie event. Fracture and annihilate will work like a raid boss and not a normal toon.

Funny, I noticed this for first time today too and was curious. Thanks for the answer.
  • My NS team can take it without losing anyone, but it takes me like 10+ minutes. my JKR team did it in 3-5 lol. ofc my JKR team has a g12 JKR while my NS has a g11 asajj, rest g10. I had been wondering why dooku was never stunned by JKR's direct focus though. that makes sense now

No. Not better. The abilities need to match their descriptions. Why is this so difficult for some people to comprehend?

You're confusing him being a boss in a raid with a raidboss. The latter is a tag. You're peeing in the wind otherwise.

I’m not confused at all. But, it seems that you are.

I'm not confused at all. I understand that the actual level designer has explained how it works and my own views are irrelevant after that.

If you call a tail a leg, how many legs does a typical dog have?

A dog has four legs. It doesn’t matter that you choose to call a tail a leg. That doesn’t make it so.

The word used is 'raidboss' not 'raid boss'. 2 different things.

Maybe you should actually read Thrawn’s Fracture ability. It reads: “Fracture on Characters: (stuff)” and “Fracture on Raid Bosses: (stuff)”. It doesn’t say anything about Fracture on event bosses, “raidbosses”, special characters, or anything else. It says “Fracture on Raid Bosses”. There are no Raid Bosses in events that aren’t raids.

You can keep trying to defend the devs on this all you want. But that doesn’t make you right.

I'm quoting the devs, not defending them

You're assuming I don't also think it's a little odd that Dooku works like the way he does too.

However, and this is important, he works the way he does and it's on record that this is as intended. You can argue all you want, but reality is the counter argument to your own. You're doing the equivalent of shouting at the rain because the forecast says it should be sunny.

Nope. No apology forthcoming. DoD isn’t a raid. Therefore, there is no Raid Boss present. If the intent is that ALL bosses are treated as raid bosses, they shouldn’t differentiate that some abilities are specific to “raid” bosses. Is it too much to ask that ability descriptions are accurate? I think not.

You're being absurdly pedantic. Like, there is zero justification for this, he's listed as a raid boss in the game code and that's all that matters. Semantics in this case don't matter, he's a boss and is treated exactly as a raid boss. It's as simple as that.

A tail is an appendage. Legs are appendages. So dogs have 5 appendages, but not 5 legs. Dooku is treated as a raid boss, regardless of if he is the boss of a raid or not. The semantics you're arguing are ridiculously petty dude.
