The idea that a salvage piece that people once had thousands of has become such a big gear crunch for so many players is ridiculous. Has CG ever answered a question about them specifically in any Q&A...

And yet you will still run out unless they return the amount of salvage people receive of this gear back to what it was.

@CCyrilS - not meaning any offence by this, but the crunch will hit you when you get further along the roster railway.
Unless you have a swgoh.gg doppelganger, you are sitting with 4 G13, 29 G12, 43 G11 toons, and are not experiencing the gold ball salvage crunch.
I am currently on 12 G13, 72 G12, 33 G11 toons and I absolutely am experiencing it and have done for some time. Currently sitting on 261 of them but that's only because I'm on hoard mode just now. It was in double digits a few weeks ago.
@TVF is sitting on 11 G13, 53 G12, 38 G11 toons and he is also experiencing the crunch.
So, as your roster grows and your g12 count in particular grows, your nest egg of gold ball salvage will soon dwindle away - believe me.
Well as long as I don't get too many stun guns I should be safe lol.
Seriously tho, I have at least kept it in mind when it comes to not using them for relic material.
