- Release more jawas
Release Akial, the Jawa jedi
And make a legendary event with jawas to unlock 4-LOM, the bounty hunter droid - happypfe6 years agoNew SpectatorAre people really complaining about gearing up jawas and then it being a waste when the inevitable *fix* roles out preemptively. This is some next level silliness. Why would anyone commit to gearing up a team that is obviously unconfirmed for a *fix* especially with this game's track record. I feel like I need to que Bush's shame on me quote here.
- Does this work with other mass assist skills? Anybody try it against GK or JKR? Really seems like this is a bug with the geonosians in particular

If people want to build up Jawas just to take down Geonosians, I don't see how that's any different than farming Troopers to beat Nightsisters. In fact, it's better because right now, countering Geonosians is pretty much the ONLY thing Jawas are useful at. It's nice that they finally have some reason to be in this game again.
Troopers can't sit there, do nothing while take a beating, and then win. That is the problem with Jawas vs Geos. Doesn't really matter if you like the fact this is happening.. there appears to be an issue with the fact so many thermals can pile on so quickly. I see lots of guild members throwing gear at Jawas so we need some dev communication now so we know whether they feel this is okay or if they plan to make a change. The longer this goes on the more people are going to be extremely angry if they decide it needs to change.
Nest can sit there, do nothing and win against a lot of teams for the same reason. Wampa pretty much does it to Phoenix too. Geos are a team that don't hit hard, but they hit often due to a multitude of assists being called. That's going to be great against some teams, and be a problem against others. IMO, that's not a problem, it's simply how games like this work. You don't use heavy AoE teams against counter-attacking teams like CLS or Phoenix for the same reason. And this isn't some broken mechanic that is causing Jawas to take down every team in the game just by sitting there taking damage. Most teams obliterate them without breaking a sweat. Geonosians are one such team that this works against.
Again, I don't see a problem here.
The problem is that the Jawa Scavenger ability should be applying (if the 50% chance lands every time) 1 single detonator onto a Geo that makes one single attack against a Jawa. However what is happening is that when all 6 Geos attack a single Jawa a single time instead of each Geo ending up with a maximum of 1 detonator each they are in fact ending up with up to 6 detonators each, something that should only be possible if each Geo had done damage to a Jawa on 6 separate occasions and not just once.
THAT is a problem, clear and obvious
If that's what's happening, then there's definitely something wrong. Sorry, I didn't realize that's what people had been talking about.
If it's a case of everyone who attacks (the original attacker, plus everyone who assists) gets a TD placed on them, then it's not a problem. Some might argue that only the original attacker should be subject to the 50% TD chance, but I disagree with that. But if every time one attacker does damage, it places a TD on everyone on the other side, then that should absolutely be fixed. - It's obviously a bug (>.>)

I'm saying there are people in my guild that are bringing Jawas up to g11 and even g12 in some cases. Yeah, completely stupid on their part but without any communication from the devs how is anybody supposed to know if they plan to fix it or not? People see a video and they start freaking out and rushing to have the counter ready for GAC start. The devs should have said something yesterday.. I don't know why it is so difficult for them to say "hey something isn't right here, hold off on gearing Jawas for now" or "it's fine we don't plan to fix it anytime soon gear up those Jawas!"."Krjstoff;c-1917546" wrote:
Any devs care to chime in and at least confirm if this is WAI or not?
I would like to know if my latest investment in the geos has just been killed by undergeared, low level, totally outdated and otherwise irrelevant Jawas.
@CG_SBCrumb @CG_Carrie
Yes, they're now 100% useless and a total waste. You definitely can't keep them for offense (in the current GAC or any future one) if you don't want to take the risk of them getting cheesed by jawas and you definitely shouldn't have built them up for TB or fleet usage. /s
Gotta love the community and their nonsense posts.- For this situation this game needs a round robin style of team A beats team B, Team B beats C, but C beats A. I had to gear my Jawas for the Crit Damage Battles and they sit at Gear 8 with no use now. That is GP that is wasted on GAC. It would be great if they actually had some viability to take down ONE team in GAC. Take note - Geos DO NOT have to be placed on defense.
If CG nerfs Jawas and never makes them useful then I want all my gear back for when I had to gear them for the crit damage mod battles that is no longer required.
Plus this is a fun/ funny way to be excited about Jawas... - crzydroid6 years agoHero (Retired)

And yet just today I saw a video of where someone put zeta Dooku in for SF (and I assume Poggle's damage bonus to other Seps helps here). Jawas and geos all died, and Dooku easily finished off Nebit. So in GAC you lose 20 banners with the Jawa technique. "Ironjehoshaphat;c-1918039" wrote:

They won't nerf Jawas, they will fix how debuffs are applied to Geos.
And then Jawas will be useless again :)
