Malak had time to stack up his Infusion to get Healing Immunity before it became a 1v1. That would be harder in a true 1v1. Sure, JML needs to go through the thresholds, but he’s also got that 2 turn Ability Block that a solo Malak can’t get rid of.

And Padme lead JML is hardly an optimum JML team. And there was no GAS, who would have shut down that possibility real quick.
